Who we are
UVU Performance Lab is the controller of personal information collected directly through this website. We are a massage therapy business based in Westbury, United Kingdom.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@uvuperformancelab.co.uk.
This policy covers the UVU Performance Lab website. Information collected when you make a booking or receive a treatment may be covered by an additional notice supplied by the relevant booking service or by UVU Performance Lab.

Information you give us
If you email us or use a contact method on this website, we may receive your name, contact details and anything you choose to include in your message.
We use this information only to read, respond to and follow up on your enquiry, including helping you choose a service or take steps towards a booking. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where your message relates to a possible booking, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not use enquiry details for unrelated purposes or sell them. Please do not send medical or other sensitive information through a general website enquiry unless we specifically ask you to use an appropriate secure method.
You do not have to provide information, but we may be unable to answer your enquiry without enough detail or a way to contact you.

Website analytics and cookies
We use Fathom Analytics to understand overall website activity, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the site. This helps us maintain and improve the website.
Fathom is a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. It briefly processes technical information, including an IP address, to produce anonymised and aggregated statistics. UVU Performance Lab does not receive information that identifies you, does not build individual visitor profiles and cannot link the analytics reports to a particular person.
Our use of these aggregated insights is based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website while minimising the information processed. Fathom states that its analytics do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
If we add any non-essential cookies or similar technologies in future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent before using them. Your browser may also store settings or data when you use third-party services reached from this website; those services control their own technologies.
05
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage any follow-up and meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements. The exact period depends on the nature of the enquiry. We periodically review what we hold and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
Fathom analytics available to UVU Performance Lab are anonymised and aggregated rather than records linked to identifiable visitors.
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information. However, no email or internet transmission is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information through ordinary email.
06
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you the right to ask us for access to your personal information, to correct or erase it, to restrict its use, to receive a portable copy, or to object to its use. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Your right to object
You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the processing is needed for legal claims.
To exercise a right, email info@uvuperformancelab.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity and will normally respond within one month. Rights are not absolute, and we will explain if an exemption applies.
If you are unhappy with how we use your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page and the “last updated” date will be revised.
